By renting Beaver Creek Lodge you agree to the following rules, terms and conditions:
1. Our fields are actively being farmed, do not ride your ATV or UTV in our fields to avoid causing crop damage.
2. Please take work shoes and boots off downstairs. Please keep muddy or snowy footwear on the porch.
3. Make sure the damper is open before starting a fire, and keep the fire under control. Do not leave the living room with a fire burning, and make sure the fire has burned down before turning in for the night. Also, make sure any fires in the fireplace are out and the stove is off before leaving for the day.
4. No smoking throughout the house, and no food or drink in the bedrooms. Please smoke outside, or on the covered porch (winter).
5. Help us conserve energy and keep our costs down- set the thermostat at 54 degrees (winter) or 84 (summer) when you check out at the end of your stay.
6. Put all empty cans and bottles in the designated cans on the porch. The waste can in the kitchen is for paper & food garbage only (no cans/bottles).
7. Don’t move the furniture- help us protect the floors.
8. Do not light or use the grill on the porch. If you are going to use the grill, move it into the driveway before lighting the charcoal.
9. If something is broken, or breaks during your stay, please notify the owners or leave a note on the bulletin board in the kitchen so we can address the issue.
10. Be safe on the trails- whether you are snowmobiling or 4-wheeling, stay on the trails, and keep your speed in check. Be aware of the fence lines and beaver dams. Our property has a number of wire fences that are hard to see. Springs and running water can create soft ice and be very dangerous.
11. Route 194 is closed to snowmobile and ATV/UTV traffic. Both McGowan/Grant and Tontarski roads are open, and connect to the rest of the trail network. Use the connector trail behind the house to get to McGowan road. The Lewis County Sheriff’s department has been known to issue summons for riding on Route 194.
